All children are expected to wear school uniform, which gives focus, unity and pride in the school.

Below is a list of items from which you can choose, all of which form part of the compulsory school uniform. The Governors hope that the variety will give all parents a wide choice without excessive expenditure.
Items marked with an asterisk * can be purchased from the school office or direct from Mapac using their online facility. The school will only stock the acrylic range of sweatshirts, should you wish to purchase the cotton rich range you would have to do so direct from Mapac.

If you would like to purchase school uniform from the school please collect a form and return it to the office with payment and we will if the items are in stock try to have it ready at the end of the day. If it is urgent please try to come to the office between 8.45 and 9.00am as we get very busy after 9.00am.

                       *St Stephen’s red sweatshirt (crew or v neck)
                       *St Stephen’s red cardigan
                       *St Stephen’s red or white polo shirt
                        *Red tie with grey stripe, elasticated for infants
                         Grey trousers, skirt or tunic (no motifs or logos)
                         Tights or socks – red, grey or white
                         Shoes – black or brown (not trainers)
                       *School baseball cap and winter hat
                        Summer uniform may include red striped or checked dress


PE kit for Year 2 and Juniors

  red shorts – only available from the school
  plain white t-shirt
  plimsolls or trainers for games
  plain grey jogging bottoms for outdoor games in the winter


All clothes must be labelled - especially sweatshirts, cardigans, coats and PE kit. Unnamed uniform can easily become separated from its owner. Shoes should be suitable for the playground, allowing children to run and play safely. Children are not allowed to wear trainers to school, however junior children may bring trainers to change into for outdoor PE lessons


Children are asked not to wear jewellery. Stud earrings and watches may be worn, but these are the responsibility of the child.
