School Uniform Policy

St Oswalds CE Infant and Nursery School

Pupils are encouraged to wear a school uniform as follows:

· Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan

· White polo shirt

· Grey or black trousers / shorts / dress / skirt

· Blue and white checked dresses (for summer wear)

For outdoor / P.E. use:

· White crew-neck P.E. shirt

· Black P.E. shorts or jogging bottoms

· Black P.E. plimsolls

· Gym bag

· Wellington boots

· Sun hat (for the summer term)

Recommended items:

· Book bag

Optional items:

· Royal blue reversible jacket with embroidered school logo

The Mapac school uniform sales are administered by the Friends of St Oswald's. The Friends support the school and help raise money for additional resources to enrich the children’s education. 5% of the money paid for embroidered sweatshirts, cardigans and polo shirts goes towards the Friends' fund.

Appropriate clothing without the school logo may also be purchased from local shops. Second-hand uniform is sold by the Friends for £1 per item.

Please order by 31st July to avoid disappointment
