School Uniform Policy

Rationale

We ask that all children wear the correct uniform and maintain a good standard of clean and tidy dress while in school. The uniform consists of:

· White polo shirts with the school logo/t-shirts (plain)/blouses.

· Navy or grey trousers, skirts or pinafores.

· Navy sweatshirts/jumpers/cardigans – with school logo.

· Fleece coats and waterproof coats with school logo are also available.

In the summer:

· Summer dresses – blue/white stripe or check.

· Shorts – navy or grey.

Footwear:

· Sensible shoes or sandals – black or navy.

Physical Education:

For health and safety reasons it is important that children are dressed appropriately for physical activity. All pupils need to wear navy shorts and a white t-shirt. PE kit should be kept in a named drawstring bag. In the summer pupils will also need plimsolls or suitable trainers as we undertake activities outside. PE kit can be ordered from the same supplier as the school uniform.

Not accepted as school uniform are:

· Tracksuits, sport shorts, trainers and hooded tops.

Our school uniform is available to order through our supplier at www.mapac.com. Details on how to order can be found on our website. The school office has a supply of sample uniform for you to see and also holds a small stock of book bags and gym bags for purchase.
