School Uniform

Girls : Plain grey pinafore / skirt / non-fashion trousers (not leggings,

jeans or tracksuits)

White polo shirts

Red school sweatshirts or cardigans

Red or grey plain tights

Red or white socks

Summer - red striped or checked dress with short sleeves

Boys : Plain non-fashion grey trousers or shorts (not jeans or tracksuits)

Red or white polo shirt

Red school sweatshirt

Navy, black or grey socks

Black or navy shoes or sandals (not open-toed). Trainers are not permitted.

Physical Education : Navy shorts, red school t-shirt, plain navy tracksuit bottoms, plain navy sweatshirt, trainers.

Swimming: costume, swimming hat and towel. Navy tracksuit bottoms may be worn to make changing for swimming simpler.

PE clothes must be a change of clothes, not part of normal day wear

All items of uniform must be clearly named.

Lost property that is unnamed will be included in the second hand uniform sales which are held regularly.

Long hair should be tied back and hair decoration must be kept to a minimum.

Nail polish is not permitted.

Watches and studs for pierced ears can be worn, no other jewellery. Wearing of jewellery for PE is contrary to Health and Safety regulations. All items must be removed. If a child cannot remove their studs unassisted they must "tape" over the studs.

School sweatshirts, cardigans, and PE t-shirts are ordered once per term by the school. A small supply of stock is held at school, please speak to Mrs Hilton. Also available are school book bags, PE bags and caps (baseball and/or legionnaires).

Any parent requiring assistance to purchase school uniform should approach the Headteacher or Chair of Governors. Any such requests are treated confidentially.
