School Uniform

  (N.B. It is not the policy of the Education Committee to make compulsory the wearing of any distinctive clothing or uniform; but all pupils are required to attend school appropriately dressed and for the assistance of parents many schools have adopted guidelines on dress).

By popular request from parents, a school uniform was chosen.   The principal colours are red, white and grey.   Most children wear a uniform as follows:

Winter Uniform

Girls

Black/Grey skirt/trousers

White blouse or shirt

Red cardigan or sweatshirt

Grey pinafores

Grey/white socks

Dark shoes

Boys

Black/Grey trousers

White shirt/polo shirt

Red pullover or sweatshirt

Grey socks

Dark shoes

Summer Uniform

Girls

Red and white checked dress or Polo shirt and grey skirt

Boys

As above or Polo shirt and grey shorts

P.E. Kit

The following items are required for P.E., Games and Swimming lessons.

P.E. (indoors)

Black/blue shorts and white T-shirt.

Light pumps or dance/gymnastic slippers

(Not trainers for Health and Safety reasons)

Outdoors

Shorts/Games skirt

T-shirt

Long sleeved top/tracksuit/jogging suit/shell suit

Trainers

Key Stage 2 only (Boys and Girls)

Heavy trainers and /or football boots

Football socks

Costume (not bikini)/trunks (no shorts)
