The School Governors and Head Teacher are responsible for the school uniform. Wearing a school uniform encourages pride in the school, helps to prevent discrimination and reduces arguments at home. We appreciate your support in ensuring that your child adheres to the high standards we expect with respect to uniform.
Shirts and Blouses
Boys and girls should wear a pale blue polo shirt with the printed school crest. Any other cotton shirts/blouses must be white or pale blue with a collar and sleeves of plain design and be worn with a school tie. If a vest or T-shirt is worn underneath it must be plain white.
In summer, an alternative for girls is either a blue or yellow check or striped dress.
Sweatshirts
Sweatshirts should be dark blue in colour and either plain or with the embroidered school crest.
Trousers and Skirts
All trousers and skirts must be plain grey and appropriate for school wear.
Socks and Tights
Socks and tights should be plain in colour-grey, navy, black or white.
Shoes
School shoes must be of a plain, flat style, and dark colour. Sandals may be worn in summer, but for reasons of safety these should not be open toed sandals. Trainers may only be used during games lessons and during playtimes and lunchtimes.
Sportswear
A dark blue T shirt with school crest, plain navy or black shorts and a pair of plimsolls are required for PE. A school fleece for PE can be purchased. Trainers are advisable for outdoor games. Some children may need football boots and they will be advised when appropriate.
All clothes must be clearly named so that mislaid items can be quickly returned.
