School Uniform

We insist that all pupils wear the standard school uniform. We are committed to school uniform for two main reasons:

· As a sign of pride in ourselves and of our school

· For equality

Uniform should be clearly marked with your child’s name, and consists of:

- grey pinafore, skirt or trousers (girls)

- grey trousers (boys)

- white shirt/blouse

- royal blue cardigan (girls) sweatshirt (boys)

- silver and royal blue tie

- dark school shoes (trainers are not allowed)

For the summer months, girls may wear blue and white check summer dresses, boys may wear grey shorts and white polo shirts. Summer caps are also available – pale blue for girls, royal blue for boys.

Your child will also need for school -

A PE kit comprising: royal blue shorts (not cycling shorts)

plain white T-shirt

black slip on gym shoes (not trainers)

A small blue draw string PE bag (not a sports bag)

A lunch box (for children who wish to bring a packed lunch)

A blue school book bag.

Hair should be neat and tidy. Extreme ‘fashion/trendy’ haircuts are not allowed in school. Parents will be informed if a child’s hair cut is unacceptable for school and we expect full cooperation in resolving this matter should the occasion arise.
