Uniform policy

The wearing of Fisherfield Farm Nursery uniform is optional although we believe that there are many advantages for the children to wear a uniform. However, we let our parents have the choice to decide whether they have all, part or none of the uniform for their child.

Advantages of having a uniform include;

It looks smart and helps the transition in to Primary School

Encourages a sense of belonging and pride in the community

Improving setting security through easy identification of intruders

Provides suitable clothing for outdoor and messy play

Is designed with health and safety in mind

Non compulsory Uniform Consists of :

Girls:

The uniform is designed to be practical, maintainable and good value for money. We have included larger sizes in some products for those parents who may have older children already attending Primary School ie Blue summer dresses or Grey pinafores, so that it is more cost effective for you when it comes to postage.

Parents are asked to ensure that all items are labelled clearly with their child’s name. We have included a DIY labelling pack on the website but if you require the pre- printed variety we have a form you can download from our website or collect one from your Nursery.
